Electronics Research Institute Initiative (Localization of electronics industry technology)
The Electronics Research Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce the ERI-sponsored Early Career Internship Program (ECIP). This 12-week training program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates wishing to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.
What is the Early Career Internship Program, ECIP?
Graduates from Egyptian universities can apply to visit and work in one of ERI host laboratories for 12 weeks. Host labs are located at the Electronics Research Institute in Nozha, Cairo, Egypt. Graduates who are selected to undertake these placements will receive extensive training on one of the following tracks:
Track 1: Hardware Implementation of AI Applications
Track 2: Hardware Implementation of Communication Systems
Track 3: FPGA System Design: Theory and Application
Track 4: Design, Implementation and Measurement of Memristor-based Circuits
Track 5: Hardware implementation Using Paython and PYNQ-FPGA development kit
Track 6: Hardware/Software co-design on FPGA
The successful candidates will meet with senior and junior scientists in the host lab, learn new techniques, possibly establish collaborations, as well as experience a different working culture. The selected candidates are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to complete their program.

• Electronics Engineering/computer science bachelor's degree certificate.
• Curriculum vitae, maximum 2 pages, including education and degrees earned, technical skills.
Selection process
All applications will be screened by the ECIP committee to ensure eligibility requirements are met. The committee will select the top candidates based on CV and personal interview.
Deliverables
The applicants are expected to present weekly and deliver a project at the end of the internship.
Electronics Research Institute Initiative (Localization of Electronics Industry Technology) The Electronics Research Institute offers a 12-week training grant for Liberty Freezer freshmen in applied modern technology under the supervision of a researcher specialized in the general requirements: 1- A researcher specialized in its general requirements:
1- Electronics Research Institute for Egyptian graduates from the faculties of engineering, specializing in electronics, computers and information, with a general grade of good at least, provided that no more than 5 years have passed since freedom of expression.
2- The applicant for the grant is committed to following the rules of occupational safety during the period of playing and dealing with devices and equipment for the chalk supervisor programs. In the event of damage to any of the Institute's possessions over a long period, the applicant for the grant is committed to paying a material consideration acknowledging the Institute's management of the success of what was damaged.
3- The applicant for the grant is committed to following the instructions supervising the places and the necessity of his presence in the Higher Institute for the Scientists' Plan. The supervisor is responsible for those responsible for the future applicants for the grant with the rules of occupational safety and how to deal with devices and tools and instructions for being present in places and times to help implement the instructions.
4- The intellectual property of the results of any theory, projects or activities during the year is the exclusive property of the Electronic Research Institute and its supervising researchers.

6- Applicants are selected based on cumulative assessment - practical experience - personal interview. Personal criminalization is only done with the candidates applying based on accumulations and practical experience.
7- Graduates are awarded a certificate of completion of the program in the event of compliance with the following conditions:
First: Commitment to attend at least 90% of the program.
Second: Commitment to all assignments assigned to them during the year
Third: The evaluation of the projects implemented during the year should be higher than civilians.
