The Electronics Research Institute (ERI) is pleased to announce the ERI-sponsored Early Career Internship Program (ECIP). This 3 months training program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates, within 5 years, wishing to advance their careers by experiencing an applied research environment.
The successful candidates will meet with senior and junior scientists in the host lab, learn new techniques, possibly establish collaborations, as well as experience a different working culture. The selected candidates are expected to commit at least 20 hours per week to complete their Power Electronics program in one of the following tracks:
- Artificial intelligence Optimization in energy sector
- Smart industrial automation
- Programmable Controllers Applications
- Internet of Things Applications
- PV Battery Charger
- Real-time Simulation and Rapid Control Prototyping

Requested documents
- Electronics Engineering/computer science bachelor's degree certificate.
- Curriculum vitae, maximum 2 pages, including education and degrees earned, technical skills.
Selection process
All applications will be screened by the ECIP committee to ensure eligibility requirements are met. The committee will select the top candidates based on CV and personal interview.
Deliverables
The applicants are expected to present weekly and deliver a project at the end of the internship.
Electronics Research Institute Initiative (Localization of Electronics Industry Technology)
The Electronics Research Institute offers a 3-month training grant for recent graduates (not exceeding 5 years) to conduct applied research in modern technological fields under the supervision of specialized researchers at the institute.
General rules:
1- The training grant is provided by the Electronics Research Institute for graduates of Egyptian universities from the faculties of engineering and science specializing in electronics, computers and information with a general grade of very good at least, provided that no more than 5 years have passed since graduation.
2- The applicant for the grant is committed to following the rules of occupational safety during the grant period and dealing with devices and equipment according to the instructions of the supervisor. In the event of damage to any of the institute's possessions during the grant period, the applicant for the grant is committed to paying a financial consideration determined by the institute's management to repair what was damaged.
3- The applicant for the grant is committed to following the supervisor's instructions to determine the places and periods of his presence in the institute according to the grant plan. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the applicant for the grant adheres to the rules of occupational safety and how to deal with devices and equipment and instructions for being present in the specified places and times according to the instructions.
4- The intellectual property of the results of any research, projects or activities carried out during the grant period is the exclusive property of the Electronics Research Institute and its supervising researchers.

6- Applicants are selected based on cumulative grade - practical experience - personal interview. Personal interviews are conducted only with applicants who have been nominated based on cumulative grade and practical experience.
7- Graduates will be given a certificate of completion of the program if they meet the following conditions:
First: Commitment to attend at least 90% of the program
Second: Commitment to perform all the tasks assigned to them during the grant period
Third: The evaluation of the projects implemented during the grant must be above average.
