Lecture Title: Advanced Control Techniques for Islanded Microgrid System |
Lecture Summary: The lecture proposes two types of hybrid optimization algorithms. The first type of hybridization algorithm is a hybrid between negative swarm (SSIA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO) which is called the SSIA-PSO hybrid. The new hybrid was tested on twenty-three standard test systems to ensure its performance. To ensure the quality of the performance of this hybrid, it is compared with seven types of optimization algorithms. Then this type of hybrid was used to apply it to the grid system to find the values of the integrated proportional control coefficients and the drooping control coefficients. All the mathematical models of the proposed algorithms were simulated with the help of MATLAB / Simulink software package and then this control was tested on Texas Instruments Launchpad TMS320F28379D to try to make a real-time experimental environment. As for the second type, it is a hybrid between Henry for optimal gas solubility of HGSO with the sinusoidal cosine (SCA) algorithm, called HGSO-SCA. The new hybrid was also tested on twenty-three standard test systems. It has been applied to two types of controllers namely PI droop control (PIDC) and droop vague controller (FDC). Then the FDC console was tested |
